Salted Time

photo prompt for Mag 53
Time, like the salt of the earth,
memories together, a bounty
held in cellars of the heart.
A dash added, subtly
creating delicacies
shared with
sentiment.

The spice of life, brining
years of experience.
Flavoring the soul,
savored days
blended by
moments
of time.

Salted time.

Thanks Tess, for another fabulous prompt offered...  This poem inspired by Magpie Tales as hosted by Willow.  Also shared with One Shot Wednesday.

Reflections,
This whole piece flows with a comforting rhythm, and I'm particularly fond of:
" bounty
held in cellars of the heart."

Nice reflection on a salty topic. ;-) I really liked "subtly / creating delicacies"
I don't like "spice of life" because it's so cliche, but I appreciate the thought of it.
