Love the photo and poem!
Ansel's footprints...

I've only waited in line for an autographed book, once in my life. It was an Ansel Adams first day issue of Yosimite and the Range of Light...

I love Ansel's footprints - I have also been enjoying the wintery trees this year like no other. They are so beautiful and your b&w treatment is a perfect touch. I might have to go out and play with this idea a bit with my camera! :)

Does have a very Ansel Adams look in black and white. Good take on it!

Okay, I am doubly impressed. You did such a cool thing with the photo AND you brought Ansel Adams into your piece. Well done!

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement of such things as these. Though the original photo had deep red lines to it, it struck me as relatively void of color.

Penumbrant is a word full of suggestion and image, which suits the dreaminess of the piece--and I like the Ansell Adams effect/reference as well.
