Love the photo and poem!
Ansel's footprints...
I've only waited in line for an autographed book, once in my life. It was an Ansel Adams first day issue of Yosimite and the Range of Light...
a cut diamond of a poem-- xxxj
smiles. they are all around us...
Beautiful! And I love the thought of Ansel's footprints in the snow :)
Fantastic :)
This black and white version gives a clear cut beauty which suits your few words...
Lovely. It fits the picture to a T.
I love the mystery of this.
beautiful write!!!
I love Ansel's footprints - I have also been enjoying the wintery trees this year like no other. They are so beautiful and your b&w treatment is a perfect touch. I might have to go out and play with this idea a bit with my camera! :)
"Penumbrant dreamworld" Love it. Nice work
What a beautiful pairing of art with words! Just magic!
"Lumninous branching shadows..." I love the image and the feeling it evokes. Thanks, Petrina!
Petrina what a lovely combination
of words with the pic.

I love what you did, also. : )
Does have a very Ansel Adams look in black and white. Good take on it!

Okay, I am doubly impressed. You did such a cool thing with the photo AND you brought Ansel Adams into your piece. Well done!
Wonderful!!!
What a beautiful tale. It is a winning and fitting story for this photo. Nicely done!
Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement of such things as these. Though the original photo had deep red lines to it, it struck me as relatively void of color.
Lovely!
Ohhh... I like the idea of that penumbrant dreamworld.. I think it's THE best adjective for that wonderful world of dreams... (sigh).. I am already drifting someplace...
Excellent oneshot+magpie, my friend...
Excellent write -- perfection in descriptive
Penumbrant dreamworld and Ansel Adams -- as I type above my computer I have two large Black and Whites of Ansel Adams.

Loved the middle line.
Penumbrant is a word full of suggestion and image, which suits the dreaminess of the piece--and I like the Ansell Adams effect/reference as well.
