A Linguering Kiss

A Linguering Kiss

His lips trace, a kiss linguers on her neck,
Fills her with his love, his passion for her...
Hers, loving ebb, wells to meet him halfway,
Bridging the space between us, him and her.

Passions become one, united in love,
Tender moments, lost gaps between the two,
Each feeling, knowing together is US,
Feeling us, being forever in love.

Love the emphasis in the poem of two people meeting through space, or closing the gap that seperates. Great response to the challenge! cheers

I read this alongside 'Promised Forever' and have to say that there was a powerful connection between the two for me. The imagery of love and passion can sometimes fall into the blackness..anyway just a thought..thank you for visiting my sunday scribble..Jae

To read this by candlelight to your lover -- ahhh, that would be divine.

Nicely done! How you bridge the characters, the him and her, to the us--them and us, feeling with them. A crafted poem. Thank you.
