One Little Kitty

One Little Kitty

One little kitty, one more two,
How I like my milk, you go shoo,
One little kitty, one more too,
Don't want to share, not with you,
One little kitty, one more two,
How 'bout some milk, more for two,
One little kitty, one more too,
We shared our milk, me and you.

This short poem was inspired by this week's photo prompt over at Monday's ChildThought I would give a go at writing something for the young ones.  Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed thinking of how to write for children.

this is really cute and has a fun rhyme scheme, like a bursery rhyme...

Oh so cute and I can see these kittens running back and forth to the bowl and finally sharing --the rhyme is perfect...so glad the New Year is here...blessings...bkm

Wonderful job! Those little kitties are just like mine (except mine don't share at the end). The rhyme is perfect...
